"CHOICE" 2004-05
Mixed Media. Commissioned by Arnolfini Galley, Bristol for the "Wonderful: Visions of a Near Future" touring exhibition. An interactive artwork. 3,000 seed packets containing Himalayan Balsam seeds in a customized vending machine. The public could vend the seeds, but in order to do so they had to sign a contract. The contract cited information about the plant giving the owner an informed choice - to plant the seeds or not. Those taking seeds will be contacted in 2005 in order to record their choice and evaluate the project.
