"EMERGE" 2004 Performance and mixed media installation, Platt Field Park, Manchester. Commissioned by C.I.T.E. for Gardens of Delight Festival.
Collaboration with Sound Artist Helmut Lemke.
Exploring micro-organisms in an inner city park lake. One visual artist, and one sound artist and one environmental biologist, each in a pedaloe armed with nets, recording equipment, microscopes, Perspex "slide" sheets and marker pens.
Detritus and life within were pulled up from the lakebed, examined, recorded, illustrated and named. Each work was exhibited on or around the "Emerge" pontoon
