Commissioned by Oldham M.B.C.
A series of sculptures sited along the Saddleworth section of the Huddersfield Canal.
POST INDUSTRY (2.4m x 5m x 6m) Oak and sections of wool combing barrels.
Permanent site specific sculpture. The sculpture is a comment on the past industry of the area, the post-industrial landscape, and the natural reclamation of the landscape. Carved fern fronds sprout through the spindle and cog mechanism of wool combing barrels reclaimed from a nearby demolished mill. It is sited where the increasingly rare plant, the Royal Fern can be found growing.

HILL SHELTER (2m x 4,5m x 2.5m) Oak.
Permanent site specific sculpture. A series panels set at 30 degree angles to create a wind break and shelter. Each panel is relief carved with the view of the hills as seen from this section of the canal.

PURPLE HILLS (2.5m x 5m x 4m) Oak and Steel.
Designed with school children from Diggle Primary School to echo the horseshoe shaped, heather laden hills and the canal running through.
