“REFERENCE GRID” 2004 Esplanadin Lava, Helsinki , Finland .

“REFERENCE GRID” relates to the structure of the building, Esplanadin Lava. and the nature of the work. The paned glass structure of the building was super imposed onto a map of Helsinki creating 72 grid areas each 900m x 300m. Each day 12 Tasks were undertaken in one given area.
During 10 days, 20 areas were investigated resulting in 10 different daily installations. Each completed day and subsequent installation resulted in a growing archive. This was filed on display in one specified area of the Lava. This process-based project concluded with a weeklong exhibition incorporating one element from each day and the complete filed archive.
